The Hive English Trip

Have you been to the Hive yet?

It's a great space to hangout, play games, use the computers and finally read books. Year 7 went on a trip to look at the huge library of books on offer at the hive.

We looked at original letters from WW1 soldiers; it was quite strange as they all seemed calm but all around them there were bombs going off and shells landing.

We also did speed dating, but with books. We looked at brand new books that aren't even on the shelves yet. There were some great books we found that wanted to make us read.

Finally we picked up a book from the library and checked it out. Ruby is currently reading Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.
