Intercollege Cup Sports Day!
Hi!!! It's Ruby and Aaliyah reporting again this evening, and we're posting about our day off timetable to take part in an inter-college cup sports day! All of year 7 and 8 were involved and this is how it went.
It was a great day; very brutal but very fun. First we went to tutor and then got dressed and ready for the fun! The year groups played separately. Year 7 and 8 took part in the 4 hours of excitement. The year 8 girls did netball and bench ball. The year 7 girls played bench ball and the year 7and 8 boys played rugby.
Each form got to play 6 times. The teams who did the best played in a final. Versalius were the winners of year 7 bench ball! We heard at the end that Versalius also won the other year 7 games! Other winners were Raleigh (Year 8 Netball) and Walsingham (Year 8 Rugby). Unfortunately, Marlowe and Tyndale didn't place in the top 3 :(
Whilst it was lots of fun, it was seriously competitive! We both have war wounds(!) from our efforts to win.
