Tyndale College Blog #2

Tyndale College Blog!

Well hello there!
Today is the second ever Tyndale College Blog! Hopefully you enjoy our jam-packed blog and grab some advice because we may need it!

Okay so Tyndale are almost top at attendance - T08 leading the tribe... I wonder who will win the College cup in a few weeks :)
Also, we are now SECOND in merits!! Walsingham have beat us we are now almost 1,000 merits behind; every other college except Vesalius coming to beat us. We need to log merits on Fridays and at home if we want to take the lead from Walsingham!

Sports!!!
So in Basketball T1 and T2 won the first round and we've had many wins and draws!! Also, good luck to the winning tutor groups in the next round!

On Thursday April 28th I went to watch a play by the Sixth Formers called 'Tuck Everlasting'. I have to say it was amazing and I had a lot of fun; it was also really funny at times :)

This week we held auditions for 'Tudors Got Talent' with some of our performing arts teachers as judges. Many students entered and wowed the judges which will move on to the live final next week. Good luck to all of the acts competing!

International week is coming up and we want ideas for what we can do! If you have ideas, please contact Miss Dunn (Tyndale College Leader) who is around school or in her office everyday :)

Isabelle Mundy in T3 (Year 8) has cut most of her hair and donated it to the Little Princess Trust - a charity which makes wigs for disfortunate children who are bald because of laser treatment/cancer. I was lucky to interview Izzy and this is what she said:

So what inspired you to cut your hair?
It was getting too long and I know people who have/have had cancer in the past so I thought I would donate it.

How do you feel now you have cut it?
It's easier to manage and put up for school so I feel more happy with my hair in the morning. I also feel happy that it was also donated to a good cause.

When the Summer comes you know it's time for the Summer Holidays - which also means the year 11's are leaving! We hope that every single year 11 gets the GCSE grades they've been hoping for - for years. We also hope that you all have good luck in the future and you grow up to be the person you always wanted to be :)

That is it for now! The other bloggers will see you next week, but for now it's time for Tyndale to say goodbye!
