Raleigh Blog #1

Hi and welcome to the Raleigh Blog, I hope you enjoy seeing what Raleigh does :) 

Rowing-We'd like to congratulate everyone in Raleigh who participated in the rowing competition.We (Form captains, Miss Gent, Miss Beard) are really proud, we were top until Tyndale took an unexpected lead leaving Raleigh in 3rd but we did really well so Thanks to everyone. 

Jack and the beanstalk trip-Thursday 4th Feb 2016 was a trip to Birmingham theater for years 7, 8 and 9 to watch a dramatic and hilarious performance, from the feedback all of the students have enjoyed it.  Every student showed how smart our academy is. Well done. 

Year 8 parents evening, well done to all students who came, everything went to plan. 

In other achievements recently year 8 football boys team went head to head with Christopher whitehead, we won 7-0! Congratulations. 

Year 7 parents evening is also coming up very soon so good luck to all year 7s. 

Finally for all year 11s there is a mock exam fortnight. Also, there is a Drama showcase. 

Last Thursday (3rd march) The girls football team went against Christopher whitehead and won 12-2 

Well done everyone in Raleigh who played.
